Being our Creator is omnipresent, He knows who commits terrible acts, yet, in no way does He conspire with them. God is the One who commands us to love one another. God has never told us there will not be tragedy, but He has told us to honor Him for protection from disaster. However, we have become a society that doesn’t acknowledge God when life is good. Somehow, we are only concerned about God and His whereabouts after tragedy strikes.
On pleasant days, many Americans worship fake “gods,” using God’s name in vain, and bullying people who are different than they are. We live in the greatest nation in the world, yet we show little gratitude to God on good days. Simple gratitude to God when times are good, and carrying out God’s command to love one another, will secure our country from terrorism. Listening for Warnings In all tragedies, there are people that God guides to safety. God is amazingly available to protect everyone who recognizes Him as sovereign. God has given us the freewill to accept or reject Him, but in rejecting Him, we reject His protection, which everyone needs, in life. Days that you have been graced to enjoy, are days that God has kept you safe because He loves you—not because you necessarily love Him. The logic in avoiding a tragedy is that you have to be willing to hear warnings from God BEFORE a tragedy hits, during good times. If you do not respect God and, therefore, do not follow His commands on good days, you won’t hear Him on a bad day. Miracles You didn’t See How is it that so many people are unharmed, at a horrific incident where thousands attended? How do people walk away from tragedy unharmed, to live their life as if nothing happened? No one asks about the miracles that God performs, in the mist of tragedies. The news media doesn’t give you the good news of Christ. The media doesn’t ask the survivors questions to uncover all that God does to shield people from harm. But, if you are able to go home unharmed on a tragic day, you can be certain God’s hand of protection was on you, whether you have faith in Him or not. Miracles happen every day for you, courtesy of God. So, give God credit for the miracles that happen in your life, and secure your future safety by declaring God as your Protector! For more information, read “How to Hear God to Prosper.” Avoiding Future Disasters In addition to evil people, we live amongst people, within “mainstream America” who are involved in witchcraft, which God detests because witchcraft (metaphysics, psychic readings, magic, luck, superstition) projects a false sense of security, rooted in extreme ignorance. Witchcraft will never warn you of danger, and luck never saves anyone. There are suburban, urban and rural communities throughout American that are not under the protection of God because they have a monopoly of people, who don’t honor God. Areas where people practice witchcraft or denounce God widespread have been devastated in recent years—9/11 in New York City, Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans, the tsunami in Sri Lanka and the horrific earthquake in Haiti. If you escape danger, it is God’s favor, giving you a second chance to see Him for who He is (love), in order for you to not miss out on an eternal life of love. Hatred towards others is also an ignorance that is damaging for society in God’s sight, whether it is hatred for an individual or a group of people. God doesn’t protect us when we violate the welfare of others because hatred goes against everything God is, which is love. It’s vital to accept God’s way, in order to be protected by Him from any threat of tragedy. Educating others of the protection of Christ and warning people of the dangers of witchcraft is necessary for the safety of our communities and our nation. God’s Protection Whenever we think we are “love” and God is not, we are fooling ourselves. God is love! God does not want anyone to suffer, and therefore He came to earth as a man, Jesus, and died in our place for the punishment we were due, for failing to love—and He rose, conquering death for all who believe in Him! The only thing God asks of us is to accept salvation, His free gift of love (which seals us with everlasting protection), is to love others, to signify we represent Him. Rather than come together after tragedy for vigils, we need to take time BEFORE potential danger to thank God for blessing us. It is a sensible gesture to start a major event (a sports game, a social event, a vacation on a cruise liner) with individual and collective prayer. We may never know of the tragedies that are avoided when we set aside a few minutes to recognize Almighty God for the amazing life He privileges us to have daily. God is very specific to protect those who look to Him for protection, and who honor Him in their daily living. If you want to have the assurance of God’s grace and protection every day, for you and your family, accept Jesus Christ's love.
