Starr, Teen Contributor If you are looking for a solution to one of the biggest problems in clothing—finding a new chic trendy style, without spending money—here you will find three great tips using the clothes you already own! Tip #1: Dyeing Dye clothes you already have in your closet, and add color to your wardrobe! Choose the right dye for you, pick the garment, and then let your creativity flow. Tip #2: Cut & Sew With scissors, and a needle and thread, anything is possible. Using an old favorite blouse or tee shirt, you can make endless accessories—a scarf, vest, pocketbook, etc.—to add flare and originality to any outfit. Tip #3: Fabric ad-ons You can make any piece of clothing look different by adding fabric to it. Use fabric from your old favorite pieces that are tucked away in your closet. Give a new look to an old shirt or dress by adding colorful cuffs or collars. If you have a garment with a stain that won’t budge, cover it by adding fabric for a pocket or a sash, and make your outfit look brand new! These are just a few of the many ways to save money and create a new look. © 2014, All Rights Reserved Related Posts: How to Dress In Case The Former President Visits Your School How to Hear God to Prosper |
