Have fun discovering and affirming the gifts you have to share with the world! 1. When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up? Go ahead, let the kid out in you! 2. How do you enjoy volunteering your time and skills? What do you volunteer to do, at the drop of a hat? 3. What do you do that others compliment you? Problem-solve, quick wit, wise, funny, healthy, helpful, etc. 4. What jobs (or tasks) have you performed previously that you enjoyed? What’s something you loved to do, even if you disliked where you worked or who you worked for? 5. What job have you seen someone else do, that you would like to do? What is it about that job that fascinates you? 6. Would you want to work for yourself or do you prefer to have a boss? Think Big! Do you want a boss or do you want to be your own boss? 7. Do you like working outdoors or indoors? What is your preference? 8. Do you like interacting with people by computer or interacting directly with people? Are you an introvert or an extrovert? 9. Have you thought of an idea that you wish someone would invent, create or make better? Somebody has to create that new kitchen gadget or garden tool. So, it might as well be you! 10. What activity makes you the happiest? Stick to your dream! Be You! 11. What information do you know that the average person does not know? Do you know everything about a certain topic, technique, skill, activity or hobby? 12. What are your favorite hobbies or pastimes? What do you love to do at home, on vacation, and after work? How do you like to spend your free time? 13. What ability or skill do you perform well that you did not learn in school? That special skill might come in handy for your future career! Are you a great organizer or a fabulous griller? 14. Do you have an unusual interest that no one else has? Unusual means you have a potential specialty. 15. What do you like about yourself? Go ahead, you can brag! 16. What qualities do you have that standout from the crowd? Great qualities can’t be hidden! So, you might as well admit them! 17. Is there something that your friends come to you for advice? What are you considered the family or friend expert? 18. If you could do what you want to do, not following any rules from school, the workforce or society, what would that be? Forget the rules, but make sure it’s legal! 19.
