![]() by VC Edwards You are identified as a Christian by your testimony to the world that Jesus Christ is Lord, and by the lifestyle you live. Here's a list of traits of a Christian. Do you treat people with compassion? Do you protect your spirit from the world? Do you dress modest? Do you have joy that the world can’t understand? Do you live a simple life? Do you have a gentle spirit? Do you enjoy peace, crave peace and create peace? Do you avoid worldly entertainment? Do you bring light into dark environments? Do you avoid worldly lifestyles? Are you self-disciplined? Do you eat sensible? Are you guided by the spirit, not by your flesh? Do you put your trust in God above your spouse and children? Do you put your trust in God above your career? Do you put your trust in God above money and things? Do you put your trust in God above your minister? Do you put your trust in God above your skin color? Do you stand up for right vs. wrong, even when others don’t? Do you see pass a person’s exterior (attire, gender and façade), to see their hurt? Do you help those who are in need of help? Do you study God’s Word regularly? Have you let ungodly friends go and bad habits go? Do you publicly confess Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior? Do you believe Jesus Christ was born of a virgin, was crucified for your sins and was resurrected from the dead, and ascended into heaven? Do you wish for everyone to know Jesus Christ? Do you take every opportunity to share the Good News of Christ with the lost (your family, friends, co-workers, neighbors, people of different races or religions, young people, single parents, the fatherless, the LGBT community, inmates, drug-dealers, drug users, alcoholics, prostitutes, the homeless, the sick and shut-in…)?
